It seems that I have been floating around for the last few months ... obviously I cant complain because floating around in Scotland isn't half bad but still, decisions have been deferred, friends neglected and the house has drifted along without me checking it was all ok.
A few weeks ago I made a decision that this had to end and sat down with my boss and told him I would be going home and wouldn't be returning. Me helping out in Scotland was only supposed to be short term however things don't always go as planned and three months later I was putting my foot down. Replacements were hired, training completed and last Friday I was off home. After suffering through jetlag, a wedding and a serious day at Adventure world I receive a panicked phone call from work .... both replacements had quit and they were desperate to get me back.
So there is good news and bad news. The good news is by the end of April I will be home, the keys will be ready to be picked up and the hard work will no doubt start.
The bad news is that I do have to go back to Scotland ... one last time. Ugghh, I have decided that I am going to take it slightly easier this trip and try very hard to not let myself be totally and completely obsessed with work.
Onto the house .... we are so very excited because stuff is happening and happening fast. We are currently being painted, tiles are done and the finish line is in site. More photo's coming this week but for now a little one to whet your appetite.

WOW! It looks fabulous!!!I love the render colours you have chosen! It must be frustrating to you work wise but nice to know you are very much appreciated and not readily replaced in this very disposable society we live in! Hope it means a pay rise too....?
